Swadeshi ringtone: Patanjali aims to stretch its outreach

Wednesday, 30 August 2017 | PNS | Haridwar

Following exhaustive advertisement campaign on TV channels and social media during Independence Day celebration on adoption of ‘Swadeshi’, Baba Ramdev- owned Patanjali group has achieved much outreach in the people’s homes, say the Facebook and Google India marketers. Next on the cards is Swadeshi dialer ringtone on the mobiles. However, things have already started in the realm of  Patanjali. These days once one rings up any Patanjali employee he would hear a long song eulogising the mantra of ‘Swadeshi’.

Baba Ramdev and his close associate Acharya Balkrishna have launched a Patanjali dialer ringtone to connect people with the Swadeshi campaign. Initially, this tone is used by those directly attached to Patanjali. later, others would avail it. On the social media, the Patanjali spokesperson SK Tiajarawala is exhorting the people to use this as their caller tune while using the slogan “Patanjali Swadeshi Swabhiman, Rashtra Sewa Ka Abhiyan,”

Speaking to The Pioneer, Acharya Balkrishna said, “We would reach out to every citizen of the country with this caller tune. This is meant to  motivate the people towards adoption of indigenous FMCG articles. With the support of the people, we have got 300 crore viewers in rotation on the social media in just 10 days during the I-Day celebration, something which has broken records. Besides, 20,000 unique users have joined in this campaign which is again a great success.”
