Friday, 26 May 2017 | PNS | Bhubaneswar

Following Bollywood biopic on cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was made tax-free in Odisha, cine lovers have now demanded that the State Government also declare the first Odia biopic Tulasi Apa tax-free.

While the Sachin: A Billion Dreams was made tax-free, the regional film on noted social activist Padma Shri Tulasi Munda should also be freed from tax, insist many people on social media sites.

The film Tulasi Apa of the Amiya Patnaik Productions has been released on May 19 across Odisha. The film produced by debutant producer Anupam Patnaik is based on true story of veteran social activist Tulasi Munda, her struggle for making tribal children educated and fight against social evils.
