Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan honoured Director and Scientist of Satish Dhavan Space Centre, Sriharikota, P Kunhikrishnan with 2nd Vigyan Pratibha Samman on Monday. It may be menioned that this award is being given by MP Council of Science and Technology and Vigyan Bharti since 2016.
Chouhan, greeting Kunhikrishnan, said that the entire country feel proud of the feat achieved in the leadership of Kunhikrishnan. Science and spiritualism is one if pried deeply, he said.
He informed that Vaicharik Kumbh was organised in the state before the Simhastha and conptemplations were made on science and spiritualism. Referring to the contribution of Adi Shankracharya in cultural unity of India, Chouhan mentioned that Vedanta Institute is being established in Omkareshwar based on the life and philosophy of Adi Shankracharya.
He also informed about the world’s biggest river conservation people’s movement ‘Narmada Seva Yatra’.
Scientist Unhikrishnan appreciated the simplicity and cordiality of the Chief Minister Chouhan. He also invited Chouhan to attend the launching of Chandrayan 2018 expedition.
It is to
be highlighted that Kunhikrishnan is the Mission Director ISRO which has set a world record by launching 104 satellite together.
