The return of Pralipta Priyadarshini Samal alias Jessy to the TV serial To Aganara Tulasi Mu after her release from jail on bail has created resentment among her serial co-actors and also the television artists’ fraternity.

While Bhagaban Behera, who was playing the main character in the serial as ‘Dr Meher’, quit the serial, many others have openly expressed their resentment over the development.

“Jessy insisted Raja to commit suicide. She is somehow responsible for the suicide. I did not feel comfortable with her in the serial and quit,” said Behera. Actor Ranjit Patnaik alias Raja was a close friend of Behera.

Behera added that the majority of actors in the serial were dissatisfied with Jessy joining the crew again and many others might leave soon.

The popular serial was facing troubled times after its main character Tulasi played by Jessy was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide of television actor Raja.

After bringing changes in the storyline she had been replaced by ollywood actress lipsa Mishra. But after Jessy was released on bail from Soro jail, she reportedly met the serial director, producer and channel head to take her back.

After considering her case they have called her back into the serial. The storyline has again changed and Jessy has become part of the cast. But things are not so rosy, with serial actors and technicians who were close to Raja resenting her presence.

Meanwhile, Jessy appealed to the actor fraternity not to tarnish her image till the court gives its verdict.
