PVR makes its debut in Uttarakhand launches its 1st multiplex

 PVR Cinemas, the largest cinema exhibition company in India, today announced the launch of its four-screen multiplex at Pacific Mall, Dehradun. With this launch, PVR marks its debut in Uttarakhand. The PVR multiplex is the largest multiplex of the city, spread across in an area of 30,000 sq ft with a seating capacity of 731 seats.  With this launch, PVR reaches the screen count of 408 screens in 95 cinemas in 39 cities across India.

The launch of PVR’s first multiplex in Dehradun was also witnessed by Himansh Kohli and Devanshu Sharma, star cast of the movie ‘Yaariyan’. The stars along with Mr. Gautam Dutta, COO, PVR ltd. did a ribbon cutting ceremony and opened the cinema for people of Dehradun.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Gautam Dutta, COO, PVR ltd, said, “We feel extremely happy to mark the debut of PVR multiplex in one of the most attractive tourist destinations of India, Dehradun. Keeping into consideration, the growing trend of watching movies as a favorable entertainment activity, we aim to bring the finest multiplex in the city to offer quality cinema experience to the cinema goers. With this, we intend to offer an unmatched movie experience to the audience in Uttarakhand.”

With the opening of a PVR multiplex in the Doon Valley which is known to host some of India's best schools and training institutions, the state will now bestow a superior entertainment center in the valley. The PVR multiplex has been designed in a novel manner to add the pleasure of an unmatched movie watching experience. The design concept is that of a crushed paper look which is innovative and will appeal to audiences. Vitrified tiles and granite are used for the flooring material which looks attractive and adds glamour to the multiplex. The Audis carry a vibrant color scheme of Red.

Apart from the immersive design of the multiplex, PVR multiplex boasts of wide array of F&B, 2K Digital projection, 7.1 surround sound, 3D enabled screens and JBl speakers, comfortable recliner and prime seats, all packaged to deliver an exceptional movie experience to the audience of Dehradun.
