On the last day of the Winter Session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Friday, GAD Minister lal Singh Arya tabled reports of two judicial committees formed to investigate Ratangarh temple stampede and firing at JP cement factory.
In the Ratangarh stampede occurred on October 13, 2013, stampede had taken place at the bridge while the devotees were going to offer prayers at a temple.
In the incident, the committee headed by retired High Court judge Rakesh Saxena has found a head constable guilty, while other accused have been given clean-chit. Similarly, in the firing incident at the gate of JP cement factory gate, district judge of Bhopal Sushma Khosla found that the incident could have been averted if the Collector and SP had taken effective measures in advance.
