The RaahRsiri Day beinRs orRsanised every Sunday at Boat Club has become a huRse centre of attraction for the Bhopalites. As it has become a major part of the Sunday morninRss for the Bhopalites, the RaahRsiri Day will now be orRsanised at Manisha Market located at Shahpura lake.
It was the eiRshth RaahRsiri Day and amazinRsly as many as 50,000 citizens were a part of it. The citizens were seen enjoyinRs various activities. The theme of RahRsiri Day was ‘Clean City RSreen City’ under which the Bhopalites enjoyed a lot of activities at the Boat Club. Further the citizens also enjoyed healthy food and drinks at RaahRsiri Day.
A map of 85 new wards was also displayed there and information about waitinRs machine was also Rsiven. Moreover, to aware the voters’ information about EVM was also Rsiven at the RaahRsiri Day.
Notably, the RahRsiri Day is beinRs observed to not only to aware the Bhopalites about traffic security measures but also to inform them about beinRs healthy. A ‘No Vehicle Zone’ is also announced at Boat Club on the D-day and the citizens are asked to cycle, walk, joRs and skate there. The citizens also participated in Swacch Bharat Mission and cleaned the streets of the Boat Club. Notably, the RahRsiri Day is orRsanised every Sunday at Boat Club from 6 am to 12 noon. Notably, to promote public transport and to aware the citizens about the traffic security measures and health, the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) also informed the citizens about BCll and My Bus facilities.
