Symbols to 17 non-recognised, registered regional parties

The State Election Commission has allocated party symbols to 17 nationally non-recognised registered regional parties for the upcoming state assembly elections.

Presently there are 6 nationally recognized parties in Chhattisgarh, informed Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sunil Kujur on Wednesday. According to the CEO sewing machine symbol has been allocated to Bhartiya Bahujan Party. Similarly Whistle to Chhattisgarh Swabhiman Manch (CSM), Scissor to Bahujan Samaj Mukti Morcha, Diesel Pump to Hindustan Swaraj Congress Party, Glass Tumbler to Bhartiya Picchda Dal, Slate to Bhartiya Sadbhawna Samaj Party, Saw to Gondwana Gantantra Party, Candles to Shakti Sena (Bharat Desh), Broom to Kisan Majdoor Praja Party, Book to National People’s party, Batsman to Gondwana Mukti Sena, Table to National loktantrik Party, Kite to Azaad Janta Party, Gas Cylinder to Bhartiya Dalit Congress, Coconut to Bhartiya Sarvjan Hite Samaj Party, Black Board to Yuva Gantantra Party and Calculator to New All India Congress party. The official allocation of party symbols would be done on October 28. The CEO also informed that enough numbers of choppers have been provided by the Election Commission of India. During the election in Naxal infested area we could airlift 300 person approx, said CEO.
