Sai Trust officials visit housing project villages

RJ Ratnakar, K Chakravarty and Rameswar Prusty of Sri Sathyasai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam, technical advisor of the Andhra Pradesh Government R Kondal Rao, former president of l&T A Ramakrishna, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation state unit president P Jagannath Prasad Rao, convenor Antaryami Pattnaik and secretary Parsuram Sahu paid their visit to Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samity here on June 14.

They were welcomed with blowing of conches, ululation, Veda chanting and bhajans. They offered flowers and Aarati to Swami.

They visited Sri Sathyasai Housing Project where 700 pucca houses were constructed in Cuttack, Kendrapara and Puri districts after 2008 massive flood and were handed over to the victim families in 2009. These houses spread across 16 villages of the districts.

After 2011 floods, additional 300 pucca houses were constructed across Keonjhar, Jajpur and Kendrapara districts in eight villages and handed over to the victim families. Sri Sathyasai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam, has spent crores of rupees in the Odisha Housing Project.
