A fatal head-on collision in the early hours of Sunday claimed the life of a truck driver near Vrindavan Dhaba under the Misrod police station area of the state capital. Efforts are underway to trace the absconding driver. The identity of the deceased Eicher driver remains unknown, and police are working to notify his family.
The police have launched a full investigation into the incident and are examining CCTV footage from the vicinity to ascertain the sequence of events that led to the collision. Several individuals present near the scene have been questioned for additional information. Preliminary findings suggest that the crash was extremely violent, resulting in the truck driver's instantaneous death.
The body of the deceased has been sent for a postmortem examination to determine the precise cause of death. Authorities are also inspecting both vehicles involved to check for any signs of mechanical failure or evidence of reckless driving.
