Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, in his address ahead of the cabinet meeting, informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Anandpur Dham in Isagarh tehsil of Ashoknagar district on 11 April.
He also shared that Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Bhopal on 13 April and Neemuch on 17 April. During his visit to Bhopal, a contract signing ceremony will take place at Ravindra Bhawan between the National Dairy Development Board and the Milk Union, and the ongoing cooperative activities in the state will be reviewed.Additionally, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari will visit Badnawar in Dhar district on 10 April to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various national highway projects in the state.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that under the Vikramotsav being held at the Red Fort in Delhi on 12-14 April, a grand theatrical presentation titled Samrat Vikramaditya Mahanatya will be staged. He encouraged cabinet ministers to attend the program and contribute to its prestige.
Yadav informed that the state has received development projects worth over Rs 4,303 crore from the Union Ministry of Road Transport. Approval has been granted for four major national highway construction works. These include the 28.5 km long Gwalior Western Bypass, to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1,227 crore; the Sandalpur-Nasrullaganj Bypass, estimated at Rs 1,426 crore; the Rahatgarh-Barkhedi Bypass, costing Rs 330 crore; and the Sagar Bypass, with an approved cost of Rs 688 crore.He also said that Agrovision events will be organized this year in Mandsaur, Damoh, Morena, and Narsinghpur. These events will see active participation from departments such as Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Horticulture and Food Processing, Agricultural Universities, Dairy Federation, Cooperatives, Animal Husbandry, and Panchayat and Rural Development.
Yadav said that the state government is fully committed to ensuring that farmers receive fair prices for their produce. The procurement of gram, lentil, mustard, pigeon pea, and wheat is currently underway.
