CMPDI organises Health Check-up Camp
On the occasion of World Health Day and Golden Jubilee celebrations of Coal India Limited, CMPDI organised a health check-up camp for the employees, their dependents, and contractual workers at its Dispensary, at Ranchi on Monday. The camp was organized in association with Bhagwan Mahavir Medica Superspeciality Hospital, Ranchi. Cardiologist, Medical Oncologist, Neurosurgeon from the Medica hospital provided consultation to the patients and round 55 patients got benefitted from this initiative. Aligning with the theme of World Health Day 2025 — “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures” awareness were provided to the patients to end preventable maternal and newborn deaths, and to prioritize women’s longer-term health and well-being. Health Check-up Camp was aimed to promote health and well-being among the CIL workforce and their families.
SCS Celebrates World Health Day
The Health Club of Surendranath Centenary School celebrated World Health Day with a range of activities for students across both junior and senior wings.
In the junior wing, students of Class I underwent a dental check-up by Dr. Jyoti Kumari, BDS, MDS, who is also the parent of one of the students and a dentist from Dr. Verma Healthcare, promoting oral health and hygiene among young students. In the senior wing, students from classes VI to VIII participated in an expert talk by Dr. Asutosh Kumar from the Department of Paediatrics, RIMS, focusing on the impact of environmental pollutants on physical health. A poster-making competition and worksheet activity followed to reinforce learning.
