DWA helps underprivileged children
The Doctors' Wives Association once again took a step today to help the underprivileged and special children of Koshish, an NGO at Argora Housing Colony. President Arti Singh, Secretary Anju Kumari Singh, Treasurer Sindhu Bhadani, Shobha Kumar, Arti Sinha, Madhu Gupta, Sumita Kumar, Anshu Priya, Anjali Jha, Neelam Tiwary donated a steel almirah on behalf of DWA, which has been helping the NGO earlier too. They said that they would keep trying to provide further help from time to time.
Tributes paid to Dr BR Ambedkar in RRD
Divisional Railway Manager Jasmeet Singh Bindra paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution, by offering flowers to his photo on the occasion of his 134th birth anniversary in the conference room of the divisional office and remembered his contribution. Due to holiday on 14/04/2025, Dr Ambedkar's 134th birth anniversary was celebrated today on 15/04/2025. On this occasion, Bindra mentioned the extensive contribution and great works done by Dr. Ambedkar to make the country progressive and progressive. ADRM Hemraj Meena, Sr DCM cum CPRO Shuchi Singh, Sr DOM Shreya Singh, Sr DE (Coordination) Saket Kumar, Sr DPO Raja along with other officers of the division, representatives of the union and employees were present in the conference hall of the divisional office.
SCS hosts induction and orientation sessions
Surendranath Centenary School recently marked the beginning of the new academic session 2025-26 with a series of initiatives from April 2nd to 15th, 2025. The school hosted an induction program for new teachers, welcoming them to the faculty and familiarizing them with the school's policies, procedures, and culture. This was followed by comprehensive orientation sessions for parents of students from Balvatika to Class XII, focusing on the National Education Policy (NEP) and National Curriculum Framework (NCF). The sessions aimed to educate parents about the new policies and their implications for their children's education. Principal Samita Sinha said, "These initiatives reflect the school's commitment to providing quality education and ensuring a smooth transition into the new academic session."
