West Central Railway is always committed toto ensure smooth and comfortable travel to passengers during summer season

Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, West Central Railway runs special trains in different directions from time to time. In the summer season, due to the special efforts of ensuring the convenience of passengers, 28 special trains are being operated. 12 special trains were run in the year 2023 said West Central Railway General Manager,  Shobhana Bandopadhyay.

Due to the tireless efforts of the General Manager, the demand for various states in all four directions will be more than double in 2024 as compared to last year.

It is worth noting that as a result of the tireless efforts of General Manager Bandopadhyay, trains in all four directions from West Central Railway are operated in additional trains to connect destinations in different states of the country to ensure uninterrupted travel.

During the summer season across the country from all three divisions of West Central Railway, especially Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh.

To reduce the congestion of passengers from states like Uttarakhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Rajasthan. These additional special trains are being operated. Through these efforts, passengers can be transported to other states through special trains.

There is easy connectivity with commercial, medical and educational cities as well as various tourist and pilgrimage places.

In the summer season, the General Manager will provide cooling facilities to the passengers at the railway stations of all three divisions, Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota.

Instructions have been given to ensure availability of water. Control of congestion at all major and important railway stations.

Extensive arrangements have been made. These are set up to monitor all activities to control overcrowding in a systematic manner.

Railway officers are deployed at the stations. Originating stations to ensure queuing systems for entry into general class coaches.

But RPF personnel have been deployed. To keep a close eye on crowded places and ensure real-time monitoring of passengers

Skilled RPF personnel have been deployed in the CCTV control room to provide assistance. Stampede during heavy crowds

Government Railway Police (GRP) and Railway Protection Force to smoothly control the crowd to avoid such situations

RPF personnel are deployed at the foot-over bridge.

If we talk about regular trains, a total of 79 regular reserved trains starting from the originating stations of West Central Railway.

is being operated. These trains include Jabalpur to Howrah, Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra, Somnath, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Amravati, Pratapgarh, Yesvantpur and Rewa to Dr Ambedkar Nagar, Chirmiri, Itwari, Anand Vihar Terminal (New Delhi), Rajkot, Udaipur, Trains are being operated for cities like Ektanagar etc. and same from Bhopal division to Jodhpur, Lucknow Junction, Bilaspur, Jaipur, trains are being run for cities like Nizamuddin, Khajuraho, Pune, Pratapgarh, Durg, Howrah etc.

Apart from this, Nizamuddin from Kota also, Regular trains are being run for cities like Patna, Dehradun, Hisar, Etawah, Mandsaur, New Delhi, Udhampur, Sriganganagar, Indore etc.
