The State BJP, keeping the upcoming General Elections in mind, has formed eight media centres to highlight party’s programmes and achievements and to establish better rapo with the Press, sources said.
One of these eight media centres includes “Brahmapur Zone Media Centre” taking Brahmapur, Aska and Kandhamal Parliamentary Constituencies under its ambit. On approval of State BJP president Manmohan Samal, the State Election Media Cell Managing Committee In-charge and spokesperson Sajann Sharma has entrusted the responsibility of “Brahmapur Zone Media Center” on senior BJP leader of Ganjam Sunil Kumar Sahu as coordinator of the Centre.
Sahu earlier held several key party positions such as the president of “Brahmapur Mahanagar BJP Yuva Morcha; general secretary of Ganjam Zilla Yuva Morcha; president of Zill BJP Yuva Morcha; Ganjam Zilla BJP general secretary; District BJP vice president; Zilla Media Prabhari and several such crucial positions and earned name in the party for his organisational ability.
