Police have not only solved the murder case of a businessman in Lohardaga, but have also succeeded in arresting four people involved, including the shooter and the main conspirator of the murder. Among the arrested people, Amresh Mishra, age 22 years, father Satyadev Mishra, village Ramanand Purva, Mauza Madhavpur Chakatta, police station Kotwali Nagar, district Gonda (Uttar Pradesh), Manowar Ansari, age 42 years, father Zahoor Ansari, address Serenghatu, Todar, P.O. Juria, Police Station Senha, District Lohardaga, Mustaqeem Ansari, age around 60 years, father Late Subhan Ansari, Police Station Serenghatu Todar, Police Station Senha, District Lohardaga and Sarwar Quresi, age around 52 years, Father Late Hussain Quresi, Police Station Lapur, Kudu, District is included.
Police have recovered one pistol, five rounds of live bullets, four mobile phones with SIM cards, the dress used in the incident and Rs 11,110 in cash from the arrested people. On 08.04.2024, a person named Naresh Kumar Sahu alias Shibu Sahu, father late Ram Mohan Sahu, address Sobaran Toli, College Road, Police Station Lohardaga, District Lohardaga was shot by three unidentified criminals in the salon of Deepak Thakur in Serenghatu under Senha police station was murdered.
In relation to which Senha police station case number 24/24, dated 08.04.2024, section 302/34 IPC and 27 Arms Act was registered against unknown criminals. In this regard, an SIT team was formed under the leadership of probationer IPS Vedanta Shekhar. In which DSP Headquarters Sameer Tirkey, Sadar police station in-charge Inspector Ratnesh Mohan Thakur, police station in-charges of Senha, Kudu, Kisco and Bhandra, technical team and district force personnel were included. In the course of investigation, the accused in the case have been arrested.
The arrested accused have admitted their involvement in the case. The main conspirator of the incident is Manavvar Ansari, who was also the business partner of deceased Naresh Kumar Sahu. The main reason behind the murder has been revealed to be Rs 32 lakh taken as interest from Naresh Kumar Sahu and his inability to repay the interest amount of lakhs of rupees.The arrested accused are being duly sent to judicial custody. Raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining people in the case.
