Tuesday, 23 April 2024 | PNS | BOKARO

The Pentecostal Assembly School Bokaro commemorated Earth Day 2024 on April 22nd, reaffirming its enduring dedication to sustainability and environmental conservation. Embracing the theme of "Planet Versus Plastic," the school orchestrated a series of impactful assemblies, involving students from all grades in activities aimed at deepening their understanding of their role in preserving Mother Earth.

Tailored assemblies for each grade level provided students with unique opportunities to engage with environmental issues. From Pre-Nursery to Grade V, young minds explored color and creativity through coloring and poster-making competitions. Meanwhile, students from Grades 6 to 8 participated in slogan writing contests, advocating for a greener future.

Grades 9 to 12 delved into artistic expression through face painting and canvas competitions, fueling their imagination and passion for environmental advocacy.

Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad, addressed each assembly with words of encouragement and wisdom. "As we celebrate Earth Day today, let us reaffirm our pledge to protect and preserve it," remarked Dr. Prasad.

The day's festivities concluded with students receiving certificates for their outstanding contributions to various Earth Day competitions held throughout the preceding week.
