In a proactive move to prioritize safety, The Pentecostal Assembly School orchestrated a remarkable Fire Safety Training and Mock Drill on April 16, 2024. As part of the nationwide Fire Service Week (FSW), the school collaborated with CISF personnel and the Fire Adviser from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, to equip students and staff with vital life-saving skills.
With nearly 450 attendees from Std 9 to 12, the event was a resounding success, thanks to the expert supervision of CISF personnel. It commenced with an educational presentation in the auditorium, where Nilesh Kumar, Inspector/Fire, delivered an engaging session on fire types and control methods. Assisted by a team of dedicated professionals, including Palash Dutta, A. K. Sharma, A. A. Khan, and K. Dongare, the presentation laid the groundwork for the practical drill to follow.
Administratively, Daniel Michael Prasad ensured the seamless execution of the program, overseeing every detail with diligence. His dedication, along with the collaborative efforts of faculty members, contributed to the event's success.
Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad delivered a poignant message, highlighting the significance of fire safety measures and fostering a culture of awareness and preparedness among students. Her words resonated with attendees, emphasizing the school's commitment to safety.
