Ranjan has also advised the officials to make best use of their time, so that they can visit as many schools as possible in the district.

The officials of the monitoring team have been directed to hold a meeting with the district level officials on the first day of monitoring and decide the further action of the monitoring. Which school to go to, how much time to give or on which points to focus questions, all this should be decided in advance. Instructions have been given to the officials that on the third day of inspection, all the officials along with the education officials of the district will submit the sealed report of the schools visited to the Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Development Commissioner of the district. This report will be prepared by the State Education Project with the help of the associated operator.

Project Impact was started from Koderma district in the state. It was on the initiative of State Education Project Director Aditya Ranjan that the self-evaluation campaign 'Project Impact' was started for schools in Koderma district. Under this campaign, government schools have to self-evaluate and give marks on the basis of many parameters. Schools with the highest scores are among the best performing schools, and schools with the lowest scores are among the worst performing schools. This project is also reviewed continuously, so that transparency and honesty can be ensured in the evaluation. Seeing the widespread and positive impact of this project in Koderma district, this project has been implemented in the entire state by the State Education Project.
