Jharkhand High Court (HC), Judge and acting chairman of Jharkhand Legal Service Authority (JHALSA), Sujit Narayan Prasad has taken cognizance of the road accident that took place late Monday night near Morabadi under Lalpur police station area.
The High Court Judge has given instructions to District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) for proper treatment of the people injured in this accident. After this, DLSA Secretary, Rakesh Ranjan and Ranchi Civil Court Judge, Kamlesh Behera went to RIMS late in the night and met the injured and directed the RIMS management to provide better medical facilities to the injured.
An uncontrolled car crushed a woman near the residence of JMM President, Shibu Soren in Morhabadi, Ranchi on Monday night. The woman died on the spot. Six other people were injured after being hit by the car. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and seized the car.
According to eyewitnesses, the car hit many people from Museum Chowk in Morhabadi to the residence of former Chief Minister Shibu Soren. Local people said that the uncontrolled car stopped near Shibu Soren's residence after hitting an electric pole, crushing the woman. After the accident, the people traveling in the car including the driver left the vehicle and ran away. The police have seized the car. The car is said to belong to a lawyer.
