Heat wave to start from April 19, Yellow alert issued

Heat wave will continue in Jharkhand from April 19. This will impact many districts of the state. Yellow alert has been issued regarding this. This information was given by the Ranchi Meteorological Centre on Wednesday.

The maximum temperature in the state is likely to rise gradually by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius during the next 3 days. After this, there is no possibility of any major change in the next 2 days.

It is extremely hot in Jharkhand. The scorching heat has made people's condition miserable. There is no possibility of people getting respite from the heat in the state right now. People will have to endure the heat for the coming few days. The mercury in most of the districts of the state is 40 degrees Celsius.

 

The temperature in Ranchi has also reached 37 degrees, while the temperature in 8 cities in the state including Godda has crossed 40 degrees. Heat will persist in the state for the next 4 days. However, the temperature may increase further during this period. Also, there is a possibility of heatwave in many districts. Regarding which a red alert has been issued. Try not to go out between 12 noon and 2 pm. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.

It is noteworthy that the problems of the people may increase in Kolhan and Palamu divisions of the state. The weather center has predicted that the maximum temperature in some districts of Kolhan and Palamu divisions may exceed 44 degrees Celsius. In view of the weather conditions, the Meteorological Department has asked people to remain alert. There is a possibility of heatwave in many districts. Regarding which a red alert has been issued. It is said that there is a need to be especially cautious during this time. Children and the elderly have been requested to come out of their homes only when there is special need. Cover your head while leaving the house.

According to the department, this weather condition may last for the next few days. Currently, the weather is predicted to remain dry till April 22. The temperature will increase when the weather becomes dry. Here in the capital too, the heat has started showing its effect. It is expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius in the next two-three days. According to the weather center, the maximum temperature in many districts of the state has crossed 40 degrees Celsius. It is expected to increase further.
