Govt employees still undergoing vigorous training for polling

Voting for Bhopal Lok Sabha seat will be held on May 7. The responsibility of conducting voting will be on more than 10000 officers and employees. Those who are being given second training for 6 days started from Thursday.

At 7 centres, they will learn the basics of EVM, mock poll, voting, taking voting material till submitting it. At the same time, on Thursday itself, 372 employees were given training for one day. These employees will go door-to-door to get 85+ elderly people to cast their votes.

In the Lok Sabha elections, 85+ elderly and voters with more than 40 percent disability will also get the facility to cast their votes at home. Therefore, training was given to the employees in BSS College from 11 am to 3 pm.

Voting will take place at a total of 2034 polling stations in Bhopal. Employees have also been put on duty for this and due to which they are being given training. The second training started from  April 25, which will continue till April 30. A total of 10660 employees will take training, 72 master trainers are training them. These also include EVM master trainers.

Assistant Nodal Officer Sandeep Kumar Srivastava said, PO, P-1, P-2 and P-3 level employees will get training at 7 centres. Of these, this will be the final training for P-2 and P-3 employees. About 4200 PO and P-1 level employees will be given final training on May 3-4 before voting.

Bhopal Lok Sabha consists of a total of 8 constituencies - Berasia, Narela, Govindpura, Huzur, Bhopal North, Bhopal Central, Bhopal South-West and Sehore. Employees of 7 assembly constituencies of Bhopal district will get training here, while employees of Sehore assembly will be given training in Sehore itself.

The training include before voting, How to conduct mock polls using EVM and VVPAT. Match the result displayed on the control unit with the mock poll slips of VVPAT. Clearing of mock poll results from CU and removal of mock poll slips from VVPAT drop box. Stamping the back side of VVPAT Mock Poll Paper Slips and sealing the black envelope with pink paper currency.

After the completion of the voting providing numbered slips to the people standing in the queue at the time of closing of voting.

Voters standing in the queue have to press the close button after casting their vote.
