Disability is not a hindrance in conducting polling: Goswami

In the third phase of Lok Sabha elections-2024, Divyang (Disable) polling personnel Shri Vimal Goswami has been assigned the duty of conducting voting in the polling centre located in Maula of Khategaon assembly of Dewas district under Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency. Despite being Divyang in both legs, Goswami left with the polling team on Monday with great enthusiasm to conduct the voting. He said that disability is not a hindrance in conducting polling.

Goswami said he wanted to see how the voting process would be. He said that generally Divyang polling personnel try to get their polling duty cancelled citing their disability, but he is very happy while leaving for his duty with the polling party.
