The Capital city on Wednesday completely soaked into Ram Navami spirit with people celebrating the festival with religious fervour across the city. When the procession with Ram Dhun took place on the streets of the capital adorned with Mahavir flags, everyone was mesmerized by its grandeur. People danced to the tune of Ram bhajans and songs. During this time, the enthusiasm of everyone, both children and old, was palpable.

This was the first Ram Navmi after the consecration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The enthusiasm of Ram devotees increased further when Chief Minister Champai Soren came to participate in a Ram Navami programme organized on the Mahatma Gandhi Marg of the city. During this, the Jharkhand CM was also seen raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji was also present with him on the stage.

Mother Sita and Lakshman were seen along with Lord Ram in the tableau brought out by Shri Mahavir Mandal and various organizations. The crowd moving in front of these tableaux was chanting Jai Shri Ram. Everyone had Mahaviri flags in their hands.

At the same time, some youths were showing their tricks with swords and sticks in their hands. The crowd present there, also seemed to be enjoying the stunts. There were strict security arrangements during this period. The administrative camp also appeared very prepared.
