This election season whether the  BJP or Congress faces  the danger of factionalism since bogh declared candidates  for in Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat. 

 WhileBJP starts damage control exercise whereas Congress is  yet to take any such step.

 Efforts are on to normalize everything by either sides  and hopefully for this   Jharkhand BJP in-charge Laxmikant Vajpayee reached Dhanbad on Sunday and met selective leaders of different castes  besides  MLAs of  assembly constituencies that  play a big role in shaping the  outcome of Dhanbad Lok Sabha seat .

Sources said, Laxmikant Vajpayee  met the leaders and urged them to increase activism in favor of the controversial  BJP candidate Dhullu Mahto . 

The state in-charge also took feedback after talking to the leaders and urged them to step up campaigns in favour of party candidates . It can be said that his  main objective was to pacify the dissidents. First of all Laxmikant Vajpayee met Dhanbad MLA Raj Sinha at his residence. After a  long conversation with him  he reached Singh Mansion and talked to former MLA  Kunti Singh and Ragini Singh for a long period . Thereafter, he moved to Nirsa  and met Nirsa MLA Aparna Sengupta and had discussions with them. He also hinted that  failure in  securing  Dhanbad seat may also affect  their future too as assembly elections are not far away.

On other hand in Congress  too, the  needed activism for party candidates is not visible here .Alike BJP  Congress too faces  internal factionalism. However, till now  no senior Congress  leader  from  state or centre has yet reached Dhanbad to counter this.
