BJP's Sameer Oraon, JMM MLA Chamra Linda file nomination

BJP candidate Sameer Oraon, JMM MLA Chamra Linda from Vishunpur assembly constituency filed the nomination as an independent candidate and Lok Adhikari Party candidate Ramchandra Bhagat filed the nomination from Lohardaga on Wednesday. Oraon also did a road show after filing his nomination. In which many big leaders of the party including many workers were present. 

 

Ten people have filed nominations from the Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency in the last 3 days. This includes Communist Party of India (CPI) candidate Mahendra Oraon, Partnership Party (P) candidate Mani Munda, independent candidate Stephen Kindo, People's Party of India Democratic's Bihari Bhagat, Adivasi Kisan Mazdoor Party candidate Sania Oraon, independent candidate Pawan Tigga. Bharat Adivasi Party's candidate Marianus Tigga, Lokhit Adhikari Party's Ramchandra Bhagat, independent candidate Chamra Linda, BJP's Sameer Oraon are included.

 

BJP has fielded Sameer Oraon as its candidate this time after canceling the ticket of sitting Lohardaga MP Sudarshan Bhagat, who has won thrice consecutively. He is currently the National President of Scheduled Tribes of BJP. Apart from this, he has also been a Rajya Sabha MP. Before this, he had also been MLA from Sisai Assembly. Before nomination, BJP's Sameer Oraon took out a procession from Karaundi garden. He had come to file his nomination sitting in a car decorated with flowers. In the car with him were outgoing MP Sudarshan Bhagat, former MLA Dinesh Oraon, former MLA Kamlesh Oraon, District President Shivprasad Sahu.

 

Bishunpur MLA Chamra Linda also took out a procession from the premises of Krishna Hostel. He had come on foot with his supporters to file nomination. A supporter was seen standing separately with him. The supporters had written names of people of all religions on their bodies in support of Chamra Linda, who stood out in the procession. At the same time, Ramchandra Bhagat of Lokhit Adhikar Party had also come to file nomination along with some of his supporters.
