Two minor boys were killed on the spot as the motorcycle by which they were travelling crashed into a roadside tree near Alim village under the Kesinga police station in Kalahandi district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Debaraj Bhoi and Subham Dora, who belonged to the village.
Debaraj and Subham were on their way back home after buying vegetables from a market in Palam when the fatal mishap occurred. The duo lost control of the two-wheeler and hit a tree. They were rushed by locals to a hospital in Kesinga where doctors declared them dead.
On being informed, the Kesinga police reached the spot and seized the bodies along with the vehicle. Police lodged a case and began conducting an investigations.
