Collector Jyotiprakash Das flagged off a chariot of Panipanchayat here in Puri on Wednesday. The observance of Panipanchayat fortnight began with the beginning the visit of the chariot, which would cover different places to create awareness.
Besides, a meeting was organised in the office of the Executive Engineer, Irrigation, Puri Division. School students participated in a debate competition on different topics of Panipachayat. The students who registered 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the competitions were felicitated and given away prizes.
