Manoj Tiwari urges people to keep calm

Welcoming the Supreme Court’s decision in Ram Janmabhoomi case, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi Pradesh president Manoj Tiwari said that this is a unanimous and historic decision and appealed to the people that they should not treat it as a victory or defeat for any community.

Tiwari who is also a Member of Parliament (MP) from north east constituency said, “All of us should maintain atmosphere of peace and brotherhood in the society.”

Quoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement about strengthening patriotism, the BJP leader said that we should give first priority to the interest of the country by following this path.

“BJP also salutes the people of the country who have not allowed the social, cultural and spiritual fabric of the country to be disturbed.”

“The verdict has given a clear message that entire country is united and the roots of democracy in India are very strong,” Tiwari added further.

Actor-turned-politician Tiwari recited a line from Ramcharitmanas, “Jehin Ke Jehin Par Satya Sanehu, So Tehin Milei Na Kachu Sandehu.”

Leader of Opposition (loP) in Delhi Legislative Assembly, Vijender Gupta also welcomed the historic and said that with this judgment way has been cleared for building Ram Mandir for Hindus and Mosque for Muslims. “The fact is that this judgment is neither a victory for Hindus nor for Muslims but for new India under the leadership of PM Modi,” said Gupta.

“A very old legal dispute has come to an end with the judgment given by the Supreme Court after hearing the matter continuously for 40 days,” “I hope the implementation of this Supreme Court judgment will promote religious harmony and brotherhood between in all communities of the society and they all will unitedly contribute for nation building,"  he said further.

"In Ram Janmabhoomi dispute is win-win for all parties to the dispute, institutions which have been trying to find a peaceful solution to the problem, and crores of Indians who have faith in religion," Gupta said.

He appealed to the citizens not to fall prey to the rumors instigating frenzy and maintain peace, unity and harmony in the country.
