All the letters being received from State government and proposals obtained from ministers should be attended within the stipulated time frame, State Director General of Police (DGP) D M Awasthi directed senior officers of his Department on Monday.
He also directed officials to expedite resolution of all the complaints received from all over the State by the Department by holding necessary probe.
The DGP was chairing a meeting of all the senior officials of different departments at Police Headquarters here.
Awasthi said that police vehicles should be purchased while maintaining transparency which also applies to procurement of materials by different departments for PHQ by constituting purchase and technical committees.”
The DGP directed the departmental heads to ensure that the appointment and promotion proposals are logical.
He said that promotion should be based on the number of cadre available.
