‘Converted Dalits will be brought back to Hinduism’

Tuesday, 17 September 2019 | PNS | Dehradun

The national president of Bharatiya Bauddh Sangh, Rahul, said that steps will be taken to reconvert the Dalits who had converted to Islam in the Kashmir region. He appreciated scrapping of article 370 and article 35A from Jammu and Kashmir by the Central Government. He also lauded the steps taken by the Modi Government in the interest of Muslim women giving them protection against the triple talaq by getting the Triple Talaq Bill passed.

Speaking to the media persons in Press Club on Monday, he said Indian culture and traditions made us understand our duties towards a country. In the same direction, Bharatiya Bauddh Sangh was working to maintain the unity and integrity of the country.

Appreciating the working style of PM Narendra Modi, he said that the two major steps taken by Modi of scrapping of special status of Jammu and Kashmir and bringing triple Talaq Bill were historical moves, he said.

When Bhim Rao Ambedkar had advocated bringing Hindu Code Bill, some people had opposed him, in the same manner when Modi Government is doing something historical, some people are getting upset but this step is very important for the progress of the country, he said. Many Dalit families were converted to Islam, he said. He restated that the steps undertaken by Modi Government were towards building new India. He said that Bharatiya Bauddh Sangh will soon reconvert those Muslim into Hindu religion on a mass scale in Kashmir. Targeting Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati, he said, Dalits were at a loss under her stewardship. If the whole property acquired by the BSP leader is distributed among Dalits, then they can come up to high level.

He went on to state that very soon, Dharm Sansad (religious congregation) will be organised in Haridwar.

In this congregation, talks will be held with the Akhada ascetics to bring up national integrity and unity in a more powerful way.
