Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will not celebrate his birthday on Tuesday in view of the damages caused by the Cyclone Titli and the subsequent flood.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Monday, Patnaik said, “I should not be celebrating my birthday tomorrow because as you know the recent cyclone has caused several damages in the State.”
It may be mentioned here that Patnaik had also not celebrated his birthday in 2013 and 2014 for the Cyclones Phailin and Hudhud, respectively, that had left thousands of people homeless and killed more than 20 persons in the State.
Besides, the CM wished the people of Odisha on Durga Puja.
