In order to enhance the cooperation and friendly relation between New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) and Shenyang Municipal Committee (SMC), a delegation led by Han Dongtai, Chairperson of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference met his counterpart Naresh Kumar at NDMC headquarter on Monday.
A senior NDMC official said during the deliberations, it was decided to explore the possibilities for “Sister School Agreement” between schools run by NDMC and SMC to begin the student exchange programme.
The chairperson of NDMC said there is a need to enhance cooperation between the two cities with the exchange programme to improve person-to-person contact.
Extending his gratitude to NDMC Chairman for hosting the delegation, Han Dongtai emphasised the need for frequent interaction between two cities.
