SChhattisgarh’s Bharatiya Janata Party president Dharamlal Kaushik on Sunday extended good luck and greetings to Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee president Bhupesh Baghel for being elected as Congress Legislative Party leader.
Baghel will take oath as Chief Minister on Monday in a function scheduled at Science College ground.
Kaushik said, “My hope and wish is that Baghel should work in the interests of state.”
Kaushik assured that in all the subjects related to welfare of state, BJP will extend all support and cooperation to the new government. He stated that the BJP will play the role of constructive opposition to make Chhattisgarh, a powerful state.
The BJP has bagged just 15 seats in a 90-member state legislative assembly while the Congress got 68 seats. The powerful OBC leader Baghel is credited the main architect of the BJP’s whitewash.
