Bharatiya Janata Party will win 50 to 60 seats this time round,” said Chief Minister Raman Singh on Sunday.
Talking to reporters here, Singh said, “In maximum number of exit polls, Congress party is being shown as getting majority or getting near the majority. Few of the polls have cited chances of hung assembly.”
“Only two days are left for counting which would make it clear who is going to form the government. It is definitely the BJP which is going to form the government,” he observed.
“We do not need the cooperation of any party. We are already winning between 50 to 60 seats. There is no need for sending our MLAs outside. All the MLAs would stand like a rock. No MLA will go anywhere. We would fight it out,” he said.
On Congress monitoring activities of Chief Minister’s House, he said, “Let the Congress party place thousands of people at the CM House for close monitoring. Those having narrow thinking do not have faith in people. They should believe in working of the Election Commission also.”
