Congress’s anti women  mindset reflects in list of LS candidates: CM

 Terming the Congress party as anti women, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the Congress has not given a single ticket to women in the State which shows its mindset. Addressing a public meeting in support of BJP candidate from Tehri Lok Sabha, Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah in Chinyalisaur, Uttarkashi on Tuesday the CM said that the BJP government in Uttarakhand has given 30 per cent reservation in government jobs to women. Three gas cylinders are refilled free of cost every year for the poor.

 Dhami said that the Lok Sabha election of 2024 is historic and every vote given to BJP candidate Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah will help in making Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of the country again.

 The CM said that the Congress leaders have understood the mood of the public that is why they were requesting the leadership not to push them in elections. He said that in the last 10 years the country has progressed in every field under the leadership of PM Modi. The world has recognised the power of the country after the G-20 summit. The fruits of development are reaching to the last man standing on the social ladder. Dhami said that every scheme of PM Modi is dedicated for the poor, farmers, women, youth and employment generation. Mentioning some of these schemes, the CM said that all these schemes are guarantees of Modi which are bringing prosperity to the poor in the country. 

He said that due to the special affection he has for Uttarakhand, PM Modi has approved projects worth Rs two lakh crores in the last 10 years.

 The CM said that many historic decisions were taken under the leadership of PM Modi. The article 370 of the constitution was abrogated, Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) was implemented and the practice of Teen Talaq was stopped. The long cherished dream of  Ram temple in Ayodhya was fulfilled. The CM added that on one hand the BJP government has passed the bill on Uniform Civil Code (UCC) from the Assembly, the Congress in its manifesto is talking about implementing the Muslim personal law board.

 

Listing the achievements of his government the CM said that a stringent anti-copying law was implemented and action on the mafia involved in paper leaks was taken. He said that the anti riot ordinance was promulgated and an anti- conversion bill was passed. The women of the State are being given 30 per cent reservation in government jobs. The air services are being extended and road construction works are in full swing in all the Assembly constituencies.

Dhami attacked the Congress party for engaging in politics of vote bank and appeasement.

 

The BJP candidate from Tehri Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, BJP district president Satyendra Rana and others were present on the occasion.
