11.42 L people given medicine kit to control corona

The Chhattisgarh Health Department has distributed medicine kits to 11.42 lakh suspected Covid patients to check the spread of corona infection, the government said on Tuesday.

The Health Department is providing medicine kits through Mitanins and surveillance teams to provide prompt treatment to people with symptoms of corona infection, a press release said. The medicine kit contains ivermectin, doxycycline, paracetamol, vitamin-C and zinc tablets, it added.

Since this exercise started, there has been a drop in the rate of Corona infection in many districts, it said.

The Health Department has so far provided medicine kits to 4.74 lakh people having Corona symptoms.

Medicine kits have also been provided to 4.94 lakh suspected people with Corona symptoms.

Also, 1.72 lakh suspected persons found during surveillance in various areas and containment zones have also got medicines.
