A transgender activist, who was shot multiple times in Peshawar earlier this week, succumbed to her injuries Wednesday morning.
Alesha was the Peshawar district coordinator at TransAction Alliance Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an initiative of Blue Veins working towards safeguarding rights of the transgender community. The activist had received eight bullet wounds and was shot at point blank near Asia Plaza, a member of the group told Samaa.
