Russia dossier 'phony stuff': Trump

US President-elect Donald Trump on dismissed as “nonsense” the media claims that Russia has compromising information on him, saying the allegations may have been leaked by US Intelligence agencies and it would be a “tremendous blot” on their record if they did that.

“I think it’s a disgrace that information would be let out. I saw the information, I read the information outside of that meeting,” Trump told reporters in his first formal Press conference in six months.

Referring to a dossier with allegations that Russia has compromising material on him, the President-elect said, “It’s all fake news. It’s phony stuff. It didn’t happen.”

He, however, acknowledged that Russia and some other countries were behind the hacking of Democratic Party computers. “As far as hacking, I think it was Russia, but I also think we’ve been hacked by other countries, other people,” he said addressing the crowded Press conference nine days from his inauguration as the 45th president of the US.

“The DNC was totally open to be hacked. They did a very poor job,” he said, adding that attempts to hack the Republican National Committee were unsuccessful and “they were unable to break through.”

President-elect Donald Trump says a replacement for “Obamacare” will be offered with the confirmation of his health secretary. Trump said his plan for Barack Obama’s healthcare law would be “repeal and replace,” adding that it would be “essentially simultaneously.”

Earlier, in a series of tweets, Trump said, “Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA - NO DEAlS, NO lOANS, NO NOTHING!

“Intelligence agencies should never have allowed this fake news to “leak” into the public. One last shot at me. Are we living in Nazi GermanyIJ

Trump campaign not hacked by Russians: FBI

Washington: Russian hackers did not break into the computers of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign or active accounts of the Republican National Committee, FBI chief James Comey said. Comey told a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing on Russian interference in the US election that the Russians, in addition to hacking the Democratic National Committee, did break into some state and local Republican campaign systems during last year’s campaign. In addition, they accessed and took information from old, inactive systems of the Republican National Committee.

in the 2016 election.

Kremlin denies it has compromising info on Trump

Moscow: The Kremlin denied claims that Russia gathered compromising information on US President-elect Donald Trump, saying they were aimed at damaging Moscow’s relations with Washington. “The Kremlin does not have compromising information on Trump,” President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists.
