Pakistan's army chief on Wednesday warned foreign states and their intelligence agencies to stop "destabilising" the country by supporting terrorists in the restive southwestern Balochistan province. General Raheel Sharif visited the province after last week's killing of 20 workers by Baloch nationalist militants fighting for greater control over the resources of the province. "The army chief warned foreign states and intelligence agencies against trying to destabilise Pakistan by supporting terrorists in Balochistan," said a military spokesman. The army chief said that the militants would be defeated comprehensively.
