Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday presented a sapling of the original sacred Bodhi Tree from Bodhgaya as a gift to the Thai King during his visit here, symbolising the blossoming bilateral ties.
Singh gifted the sapling to King Bhumibol Adulyadej as a symbol of the shared cultural heritage between India and Thailand.
