A small ‘island’ of about 40 ft has appeared in the sea in Gwadar as a result of the strong earthquake that struck remote Western Pakistan. TV channels showed images of the ‘island’ that sprung up after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit southwestern part of the country, killing 80 people and injuring dozens.
