Global terror organisation ISIS is known for using innovative tactics to lure people to join its cause.
According to an online news portal, this time it has turned to dating websites to lure jehadi brides to marry its militants and join their ranks. An intelligence official recently revealed the example of a family whose daughter was approached by a militant who promised her of riches.
The young girl, who lived near the Jordaninan city of Zarqa, was stopped before she could travel to the ISIS’ de-facto capital Raqqa. The official said that ISIS is not sparing any online platform from spreading its propaganda. It is luring young girls promising them of handsome fighter husbands, beautiful jewelry, servants and big houses. The official said that her case shows that ISIS is even using online dating sites for recruiting people across the globe.
