14 killed in two landslides in China
Beijing: Fourteen people were killed and 11 others injured in two incidents of landslide in southwest China, authorities said on Wednesday. The incidents happened in Guizhou province and a total of 38 people were reported to be missing.

Mogadishu: A heavy blast tore through the inside of Mogadishu government offices on Wednesday, leaving casualties in the building where the city’s mayor is based, a security official said.
World Bank deploys $300m to DR Congo
Washington: The World Bank announced on Wednesday it was deploying another $300 million in crisis aid for DR Congo to help contain the Ebola outbreak. The funds will be added to the USD 100 million the bank provided after Ebola appeared in August 2018.
