A four-year-old girl was killed and a boy was injured by a knife-wielding assailant on Monday, as attacks by disgruntled people targeting innocents continued unabated in China.
The girl died after stabbed by a man in east China’s Jiangsu Province, making it at least the third such case reported in China in the past two months.
The attacker stated to be mentally deranged attacked two children, a boy and a girl between the ages of three and four, in langgudun Village of Xuzhou City, state-run Xinhua news agency reported. local authorities said the girl died in a hospital.
The suspect has been detained by police.
