After adapting American terrorism drama 24 to Indian sensibilities,  Anil Kapoor has hinted at collaborating with the makers of Emmy-winning series Modern Family for television viewing in the country.

Anil, one of the most successful Indian exports to Hollywood and American TV, posted on Twitter that he could not wait to “recreate the magic” of Modern Family for audiences here.

“Exploring the #ModernFamily world. Can’t wait to recreate the magic for Indian audiences! @ModernFam @RheaKapoor (sic),” he tweeted.

The actor-producer also shared a collage of four photos. One picture shows his filmmaker daughter Rhea in conversation with a woman on some set, while another sees American actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The details on this development are scarce, leaving fans wondering how much the show will be ‘Indianised’.

Modern Family is a mockumentary  which follows the lives of Jay Pritchett and his family, all of whom live in suburban los Angeles. A mockumentary is a type of film or television show in which fictional events are presented in documentary style to create a parody.

The fictional characters on Modern Family frequently talk directly into the camera. The series was renewed for its seventh season on May 7, 2015.
