Kumar on his role in atrangi re
Superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to enchant the audience with his latest role in the forthcoming film Atrangi Re.
“I am just a part of the film but this is actually Dhanush and Sara’s film. They are the main leads and I am just a character in it. When this film came to me I liked the story,” Kumar shared.
“The character was small but I liked it so much that I told Anand L Rai that I will do it and he was also shocked to hear how I said ‘yes’ to this,” he added.
Fairtalk | SS Rajamouli
‘As far as I understand the pulse of the audience, it is obvious that a lot of people will expect a similar film from me after Baahubali, because it is a benchmark in my career. But there is a deeper meaning in what they expect. They are looking for that cinematic experience from RRR. Not a similar story, but a similar visual experience, imbibed with emotions and fiery action sequences.’
Dailytalk| Abhay Deol
When Karan (Deol) was a child, Sunny bhaiyya used to bring him toys every time he returned home. I remember, once he said, ‘No, I’m not going to get him anything this time’. You know, so that we don’t spoil the child. Karan cried so much because he didn’t get his toy. I still remember how he was bawling as he didn’t anything.’
Holland on picturing future
Hollywood star Tom Holland wants to think about his future for the next five years.
Asked if he’d reached the stage where he can take on ‘weird’ experimental movie roles, Holland said, “I wouldn’t necessarily call it weird but I’d love to explore and try out new things with different characters.”
“But then again, I’ve been an actor since I was 11. I haven’t done anything else. Maybe, I don’t want to be an actor? Maybe, I just wanna set up a carpentry shop and be a dad? I want to think about my future now,” he added.
