Parineeti’s 10 years in cinema
Actress Parineeti Chopra made her debut with the film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and has been doing great work ever since then.
On completing her 10th year in cinema, she says, “I have been fortunate to work in some of the landmark films of Indian cinema and collaborate with some of the best directors, actors, technicians of our industry. When you love your work, time flies.”
“I feel I have just started my journey. I’m raring to go for my next decade in cinema. I’m loving the kind of offers that are coming my way because I’m getting the freedom to express myself freely,” Parineeti adds.
Fairtalk - Nushrratt Bharuccha
‘With each film, I try a new approach or method to get into the skin of the character. Because I never went to an acting school, or took any formal training, I have always learnt on the job. In Chhorii, my character is very layered, vulnerable, soft, impressionable, forgiving, yet fierce and fearless – a true survivor. Thus, getting Sakshi’s emotional quotient right was important.’
Dailytalk - Baba Sehgal
‘Bella Ciao is a peppy protest anthem and is super catchy. I didn’t anticipate my version of the song Kela Khao would become such a huge hit on social media. I was simply at home getting bored and made this track. It just struck a chord. Money Heist connects directly to your heart. That’s why it’s so popular. Even if I watch it after a few years, I will not forget a single frame.’
Hartnett talks mental health
Pearl Harbor actor Josh Hartnett, who turned down an offer to play Superman in a $100 million three-movie deal, has opened up about his decision to step back and avoid blockbusters at the height of his career to focus on his home life.
“It was the best thing for my mental health and my career to keep Hollywood at bay. Luckily, I think I hit onto it early on in my life – it’s about creating a good home life and being able to do things that are wild and wonderful like making films, which is such a privilege,” he shared.
