Connecting with her roots: Yami
Actor Yami Gautam got a chance to extensively explore her home state of Himachal Pradesh during the shooting of her latest film Bhoot Police.
She went on to reveal how the shooting experience re-established her sense of belonging with the mountains, “It was such a profound experience. I feel that if there is God, he exists there...in the silence, in the mountain, the snow. Despite the hectic schedule, I got the best hug from Mother Nature during the shoot.”

‘I have always been keen that my films should have a positive message along with the entertainment factor, as that’s what cinema is primarily meant to do; I also feel that’s how films in the future would be. If someone is spending two hours watching a film, or a piece of my content, it must lead to some kind of a positive change in their mindset.’

‘It was a mazedaar (funny) act and I have to say that Jamie truly took over the stage at the Zee Comedy Show. I know her since several years and she is a friend, but I need to mention something today. I’ve worked with Johnnyji in several movies with Govinda, so I know him well personally and whenever I see Jamie, I see his presence in front of me.’
