Advice for budding actors: Anupam

Veteran actor Anupam Kher says there are no shortcuts to becoming a good actor, and one has to work hard and keep practising.

Offering a piece of advice for budding actors, Kher shared, “Acting has no syllabus, that’s why people come up with best performances even at the age of 80 or later. My advice to budding actors would be to keep working hard and develop a keen interest in people and their varying emotions.”

Fairtalk - Tanya Maniktala

‘Over time, I have realised that there is no absolute way of dealing with trolls. I, personally ignore trolls. You have to gradually learn to take it in good humour and not take it too personally. Social media comes with a bad reputation but during the Covid situation, I’ve realised that in the right hands it can be a powerful, brilliant tool.’

Dailytalk - AMIT SHARMA

‘What was most fascinating about Surekha Sikri was her dedication. It is only natural that when you are working on something for years, you tend to go easy or feel relaxed with your work. We all are prone to thinking that we will manage. Never have I ever seen that attitude in Surekha ji.’

Julia roberts’ timeless message

An old video of Hollywood actor Julia Roberts on environment conservation has resurfaced as it started trending on social media (again).

In the video, she says, “Some call me nature, others call me mother nature. I have been here for over four and a half billion years — 22,500 times longer than you. I don’t really need people but people need me. Yes, your future depends on me. When I thrive, you thrive. When I falter, you falter, or worse.”
